Customized Debit Cards

A customized debit card is a standard debit card that has been personalized to reflect the cardholder’s preferences. Customization can include:

• Custom Images & Logos – Using a personal photo, business logo, or favorite design.
• Themed Designs – Banks may offer themes like sports teams, charities, or special causes.
• Colored & Metal Finishes – Some banks allow different colors, textures, or even metal cards.

To get a customized debit card, check with your bank or credit union to see if they offer custom designs, as many institutions allow you to upload a personal image or choose from a gallery. You can typically request a custom card through your bank’s website or mobile app, or by visiting a branch and speaking with a representative.

Alternatively, third-party services like Metal Card Studio can convert your existing debit card into a customized debit card.

Our process is quick, easy, and secure!

Once we receive your debit card, we extract the EMV chip and magnetic stripe data and transfer them to your new metal card. Afterwards, we’ll engrave your chosen design onto the front and back of the card, turning it into a customized debit card. We then ship both cards back to you via free UPS shipping.

We have strict policies in place to ensure that your card information is kept secure at all times, and will never be misused.

Once we receive your card in the mail, we perform the transfer on the same day. We’ll then ship it back to you via free UPS shipping which typically takes:

• 1 to 2 days in Canada
• 2 – 3 days in the US
• 5 – 7 days everywhere else

Absolutely! Metal Card Studio Inc. is a registered Canadian corporation. We have strict policies in place to ensure that none of your card information is stored or misused.

Once the procedure is complete, we’ll mail your old card and your new card back to you.

It’s highly illegal to steal and misuse someone else’s debit card information. The consequences involve severe fines and imprisonment and we’d like to avoid both!

Our cards are made of solid metal, which cannot tap.

Plastic debit cards have antennas built into the cards that enable them to support contactless payment. These antennas cannot be carried over to solid metal cards.

It’s a small sacrifice in exchange for a premium, heavy metal debit card.

While tap won’t work with your new card, you can still connect your card to Google Pay or Apply Pay for the contactless payment functionality.

We understand that debit cards expire! We offer a discount for debit cards that expire within 2 years of your order date. We’re happy to engrave a completely new card for you for just $89 CAD + tax.

We can either reuse the design of your expired metal debit card, or you can select one of our pre-made designs.
